  • Pediatric Clinic

    The paediatric service provides medical care to children and adolescents up to 18 years of age. It includes general and specialized services, with clinics of haematology, nephrology, endocrinology & growth, respiratory, neurology & cardiology. When Obstetric service opens, neonatal care will be provided with renowned neonatologists and well equiped facilities. Family care will be stressed, seeing to physical as well as psychological needs of children and their families. Experienced consultant paediatricians help run the service with dedicated and caring staff.
  • General Outpatient Pediatrics

    The General OPD can provide comprehensive medical services for children, wide range of diagnosis and treatment, all kinds of children's general diseases, frequently-occurring diseases and children's health problem could make an appointment in the General OPD first, Doctors on duty have extensive clinical experience in diagnosis and treatment. The OPD is a centre designed in rich color and soft texture, which create a relaxed, enjoyable environment for children. The General OPD could be attended without referral, in which the patient can directly make an appointment.

  • Child Specialist Clinic

    Child specialist clinic provide assessment and treatment for long term disease,complicated and difficult cases.(such as ematology, oncology, nephrology, endocrinology, respiratory, neurological, cardiology, intellectual development and behavioral, genetic clinic,etc),These children are first seen by general paediatric clinic,if deem appropriate are referred to relevant specialist clinic.

  • Oncology

    In childhood, cancer is the second common killer after accident, and modern treatment provides good outcome. International standard of care will be provided to include stem cell transplantation, which is to be developed in the Hospital.
  • Nephrology

    Glomerular diseases, nephrotic syndrome and urinary tract infections are common kidney conditions, which can be effectively controlled by treatment. Dialysis and kidney transplantation will be developed to treat end-stage kidney diseases children, which are not yet well established in the country. 
  • Endocrinology

    Diabetes mellitus is a growing preterm with increase in incidence. Proper care is needed to prevent complications. Growth disorders are also an important area for management in the subspecialty.
  • Respiratology

    Asthma is a prevalent childhood condition. Proper treatment and care can prevent relapses to prevent going into chronic lung conditions.

    Investigation for proper management will be provided.

  • Neurology

    Epilepsy and cerebral palsy are common childhood brain disorders, which need proper management and long term rehabilitation. Electrophysiological studies and brain investigations are available
  • Development and Behavior Specialist

    Diagnosis and treatment: mental retardation, low intelligence,  autism and autistic spectrum disorder, speech and language problems,  learning difficulties, ADHD,  Tourette syndrome, and other behavior problems, psychological and psychological counseling.

  • Pediatric Rheumatology & Immunology

    The Division of Pediatric Rheumatology & Immunology is renowned for its excellence in clinical service and research. We are dedicated to offer quality clinical care for children with primary immunodeficiency (PID) and rheumatologic disorders. In addition we conduct cutting edge researches in these areas, aiming to translating the achievements to clinical practice.


    We deal with the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of children with rheumatic diseases, including juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), juvenile dermatomyositis, scleroderma, Sjogren syndrome and other related connective tissue diseases. In addition to traditional therapeutic modalities, we further provide novel biologicals including inhibitors of
TNFα, IL-1 and IL-6.


    We provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, therapeutic intervention and prophylactic measures for patients with PIDs, including X-linked agammaglobulinaemia (XLA), severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID), common variable immunodeficiency, T-cell defects, chronic granulomatous disease (CGD), leukocyte adhesion defect (LAD), Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome (WAS), hyper-IgM syndrome, hyper-IgE syndrome, lymphoproliferative and immunodysregulation disease, innate immunity defect, complement disorders, post-transplantation immunological diseases, etc. Genetic diagnosis for around 80 PID genes and the next generation sequencing / exome sequencing are offered to identify the causal gene mutation. We are capable of delivering various immunological-based therapies such as immunoglobulin replacement, interferon treatment, monoclonal antibody treatment and haemopoietic stem cell transplant for selected patients. In collaboration with department of obstetrics, we provide prenatal genetic diagnosis and counselling for selected PIDs.

  • Cardiology

    Congenital heart disease are common children heart conditions which need to be well management to prevent complications. Interventional procedures can help diagnose and treatment. 
  • Neonatalogy

    Neonatal ICU care will be developed to support obstetric service for the Hospital. Hi-tech and skill will be established to take care of premature newborns with different problems. Good supportive care is important for good outcome of these babies. It is on of the main areas of development for the Paediatric Service of the Hospital.
  • Infant Health Clinic

    Infant Health CLINIC provide the health checkup to one month old infants who are born in our hospital at present and provide rational guidance of feeding, neurobehavioral development assessment, prevention and cure of common diseases, (such as noisy crying, eczema, breast milk jaundice, etc.), inoculation guidance, infant care services and health education: such as diaper care, skin care, oral care and infantile touching as well.
