The General OPD can provide comprehensive medical services for children, wide range of diagnosis and treatment, all kinds of children's general diseases, frequently-occurring diseases and children's health problem could make an appointment in the General OPD first, Doctors on duty have extensive clinical experience in diagnosis and treatment. The OPD is a centre designed in rich color and soft texture, which create a relaxed, enjoyable environment for children. The General OPD could be attended without referral, in which the patient can directly make an appointment.

Asthma is a prevalent childhood condition. Proper treatment and care can prevent relapses to prevent going into chronic lung conditions.

The Division of Pediatric Rheumatology & Immunology is renowned for its excellence in clinical service and research. We are dedicated to offer quality clinical care for children with primary immunodeficiency (PID) and rheumatologic disorders. In addition we conduct cutting edge researches in these areas, aiming to translating the achievements to clinical practice.
We deal with the diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of children with rheumatic diseases, including juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), juvenile dermatomyositis, scleroderma, Sjogren syndrome and other related connective tissue diseases. In addition to traditional therapeutic modalities, we further provide novel biologicals including inhibitors of TNFα, IL-1 and IL-6.
We provide comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, therapeutic intervention and prophylactic measures for patients with PIDs, including X-linked agammaglobulinaemia (XLA), severe combined immunodeficiency (SCID), common variable immunodeficiency, T-cell defects, chronic granulomatous disease (CGD), leukocyte adhesion defect (LAD), Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome (WAS), hyper-IgM syndrome, hyper-IgE syndrome, lymphoproliferative and immunodysregulation disease, innate immunity defect, complement disorders, post-transplantation immunological diseases, etc. Genetic diagnosis for around 80 PID genes and the next generation sequencing / exome sequencing are offered to identify the causal gene mutation. We are capable of delivering various immunological-based therapies such as immunoglobulin replacement, interferon treatment, monoclonal antibody treatment and haemopoietic stem cell transplant for selected patients. In collaboration with department of obstetrics, we provide prenatal genetic diagnosis and counselling for selected PIDs.

Infant Health CLINIC provide the health checkup to one month old infants who are born in our hospital at present and provide rational guidance of feeding, neurobehavioral development assessment, prevention and cure of common diseases, (such as noisy crying, eczema, breast milk jaundice, etc.), inoculation guidance, infant care services and health education: such as diaper care, skin care, oral care and infantile touching as well.
